This Month we say goodbye to our O.G., he went to join his fellow Muskeerteers
on the other side, he will be missed, but he would want us to go continue our trek
and usher other K9’s into what he loved to do.
So this month we will be returning to one of our fav east hikes, south haven county park
its fairly nice this time of year and as usual we will hike for about an hour, roughly 2 miles.
We hope you can join us in remembrance of our OG and founding K9, afterward we will
be visiting Moriches Field Brewing.
Directions to Park ( we generally meet in the back right corner of the parking lot)

April 2025 HNB @ Indian Island
Yeah, Spring is Here (well we hope Mother Nature is being Kind to Us) and Our Founding OG
is still being missed, some of you may have met his brother JAX the PITA (pack Lead in training)
he is very DOG friendly and like people, he is a little timid, and seems to like people with
dog more then people without.
We are working with him to get him more comfortable and had been visiting breweries
and other dog friendly locations and is doing good.
This Month we visit Indian Island and will try to introduce him to some water fun,
hopefully he picks up on this which is a good Segway to learning to paddleboard.
We Like Indian Island, not a lot of trails, but really nice along the river and we will get
our 2 miles and hour-ish long hike in…
afterward we will be visiting a fav Ubergeek Brewing Co, also a great place to visit
while in riverhead.
We Hope you can join us for one of both of these fun adventures, come down
and visit and meet JAX if you haven’t already, he’s doing a great job living up to
his brothers legacy.
Thanks

May 2025 HNB @ Calverton
Hopefully Spring has Sprung and the Showers are done and the Flowers are Blooming
This marks the last of our Easterly Hikes, too many creepy critters (aka Ticks) after
April / May, this month we will be going to Calverton (Veteran’s Memorial Park),
or better known as Isaac Dog Park.
Its a fairly large park, with multiple trails (yes there is also an Indoor Ice Rink)
as our usual we do about 2 miles and an hour-ish hike. Half of the Trail system
is paved, the un-paved section is mostly wide and clear , keep in mind if your dogs
go off trail, there’s a good possibility of them getting ticks (especially this time of year)
Afterward we will be visiting a fav Riverhead Brewery ( well at least one, maybe two, since
they are fairly close together out here) North Fork Brewing Company.
Directions to Park ( If you pass the crematory you went to far)

June ?
Who Said Summer, here at last, we can only hope for a nice Cooler NY Summer.
But in the Meantime we cut back on long hikes and go to places the Dogs can cool
off (if they are so inclined). So a Usual Fav (at least before it gets buggy) is Gardiners
in West Bay Shore, a nice 1/2 miles trail to the Bay, where if you go west a bit there
is a nice beach area for the dogs to run and swim.
Come early and have some fun in the dog park or agility area.
Afterward we will be visiting Take Two Brewery in Bay Shore (across from the train station)
if you haven’t been there yet you are missing out, great atmosphere, great staff and great beer.
We Hope you can join us for one or both of these fun events, always a fun time, please
feel free to ask any questions to concerns, here or on our socials.

July 2025 HNB @ The Bluffs
Wow, July Already ?
The summer is half gone, hopefully mother nature is being kind to us, but this time
of year we always go to dog friendly watering holes.
This Month we are returning to a favorite of ours, Kings Park The Bluffs, great place
for the dogs to swim in the river and/or the sound, and also has some great hiking,
remember the name ? mean there are hills up / down so be fore-warned and
bring a hiking stick or pole.
We try to takes path that are not that difficult, but it is the north shore, and if its high tide
or will prob get wet walking along the river on the way back, so bring water shoes.
Afterward we will be visiting Sand City Brewing (northport), always a great place for beer,
keep in mind you will prob need quarter, lots of metered parking around, small town lot
that’s free, but always spaces avail.
Directions to the Park ( Tell Attendant, your going to upper parking lot )

prepared for the upcoming independence day celebrations.
Thanks, and as always, any changes or updates will be posted here and on our socials.

the last of our water walks, this one is a nice walk though a wooded trail to a nice
stream area locals call the DOG BEACH, its a fairly wide somewhat rocky and nice area
for the dogs to swim, wade or just stand in the water.
its generally a 20 minute walk to the dog beach at about 1 mile each way, afterward we
will be visit necromantic Brew Co. its glutton free beer and it does taste really good,

October 2025 Hike-n-Brew in Woodbury
Yeah, Fall is in the Air and cooler weather prevails. We hope you are enjoying it we def our
as well as our pups. This Month we return to a less used fav, it gets used by some bike people
as well as te more used path across 25 from it.
As the usual the hike is about 2 miles and should proberly take about an hour, the trail is
basically a loop, there is some parking about 20ish spots, but there is a big shopping center
next door, so if the lot is full you can park there.
Afterward we will be going to Six Harbor Brewing Company, which is a fav that we
don’t go to enough mostly due to not enough places to hike on the north shore
and town traffic and parking can be rough.
As Always please feel free to ask any questions or concerns, we will post any updates here
and on our socials.
Thanks & Happy Trails
